Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Challenges are a big part of why I started using Fitbit, and encourage me to keep active and thus healthy. Removing challenges will make me very likely to stop using Fitbit and may well result in me being less active. Therefore, please keep the challenges feature.

Users received notification today that Fitbit will be removing the Challenges and Adventures features in March. Do not remove these features.

Challenges connecting me to friends are why I replaced my old Fitbit with a new one instead of getting an Apple Watch which has more features and also will link to a riding app I use so I won’t need to carry my phone. If Challenges go, I will no longer favor Fitbit.

I've been a Fitbit user since 2016. The challenges and badges are the reason why I purchase these devices. Myself and a group of friends enjoy competing against one another and earning badges.

I'm not going to be purchasing another Fitbit product (OR a Google smartwatch) should this removal follow through.

Challenges are the reason I have bought my third fitbit.   This is terrible news.  We have challenges every week.  I’ve met new people and connected with friends because of challenges.  If challenges had gone before I damaged my last Fitbit I would never have bought another one.

some of my friends and I have a yearly challenge….last year 2022 miles in 2022; about 5.5 miles a day.   We have done this now for several years.

reverse your decision or lose business.  I am in challenges with up to 30 different people every week.

the trophies who cares.

This seems self-destructive and incredibly damaging to the community. Challenges are Fitbit's key selling feature! They are the only reason my friends still use Fitbit. I don't think anyone in our group would buy another.

This is the connection for me and Fitbit..... challenges with friends.  I can't believe I have to write this!   No more Fitbit devices for me if this feature goes away. I've had a Fitbit device since 2013!

I started with the Fitbit Ultra, and have used Fitbits ever since, The main thing I use the fitbit app for is for challenges with friends, it's great fun, great motivation. Fitbit won't be the same without it.

Come on Fitbit.... READ THE ROOM.... you seem to be making a decision that will annoy if not completely alienate your userbase.

The workweek challenge offers a defined period for competition among friends.  Without this feature, we'll all lose interest in our fitbits.  Challenges are an essential part of our experience.

Agreed. Challenges with my family/friends are the only reason I'm still using Fitbit and haven't upgraded to a better fitness tracker (like Garmin). Removing these gives me literally 0 reason to stay with Fitbit.

I completely agree and will also not purchase another product if challenges are removed. It’s the main reason I have a Fitbit.

Agreed. Challenges are the only reason I have stayed with Fitbit instead of upgrading to a better fitness watch. The ability to do challenges with my friends/family with Fitbits is the only reason I've stuck with Fitbit, since companies like Garmin have better tracking and integrate better with 3rd party trackers (like Training Peaks).

Agreed. Callenges are also the ONLY reason I have stayed with Fitbit instead of something else.

Keep the challenges. Just fix all the glitches on the app! Otherwise I'm done with fitbit.

Yep, that's why i returned my "other" tracker and returned to fitbit, against my better judgement sadly, because i liked the challenges. Ridiculous.

Please don’t discontinue the Challenges!!  They are the only reason my family and I use Fitbit!!

Fitbit losing the challenges is not great.  Is Fitbit just going to be a pedometer?  How would it be improved?  Is google getting rid of Fitbit?  I dont understand the concept.

The challenges are the only reason I even use Fitbit. Competing against myself is not motivation, competing against others is motivation for me. If challenges are eliminated, I will not be replacing my charge 4 & will probably stop using the app entirely.

Totally agree.  Challenges, trophies etc. are literally the ONLY thing Fitbit has that make it different than the HUGE variety of BETTER alternatives!  Happily switching to my new Samsung smartwatch and won't miss ANYthing now that FB is getting rid of challenges etc!  Seriously the dumbest move they could make.  Are y'all TRYING to go out of business?

If the challenges go away you better have something new and exciting lined up to replace or a lot of business will be going elsewhere.

Please do not get rid of the challenges!!! They help to keep people motivated!! This is ridiculous! You have a feature that a lot of use and is SUCCESSFUL in helping and you're getting rid of it!!! Make the smart choice and keep it or announce to us something better that you're going to replace it with! Don't just take it away! People worked so hard for those trophies, achievements and the challenges help keep us going!

The challenges are the primary reason I chose Fitbit over another tracker. I participate in challenges every week and they are hugely motivating! I don't understand why Fitbit would send a communication saying they are improving our experience without announcing any actual upgrades, but just the removal of the best features. Even if you don't participate in challenges, nobody sees this as an upgrade.

Yes PLEASE keep the challenges. I’m on my 4th fitbit device since 2015 and the ONLY reason I wear my Fitbit is to take part in daily/weekly/weekend challenges with friends and family. I use my Apple Watch for everything else. If they’re taken away then bye bye Fitbit

It seems like Fitbit could have at least tell us some of the new features. I have an apple watch but a lot of my walking buddies do not have one. This is sad.

I have an apple watch also so I guess we better get use to using it for challenges.

I am totally pissed and will be replacing mine with an apple watch.
